It’s win or go home for the Dallas Mavericks ahead of Game 4 of the Finals, with Luka Doncic and Co. currently 3-0 down as the Boston Celtics close in on their record 18th NBA championship.

Boston Celtics to Win
Boston’s star men Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown lost in the Finals in 2022 against the Golden State Warriors and that has seemed to fuel them as they both look to win their first championship.
The Celtics, who had the best record in the NBA in the regular season, boast a 3-0 lead in this best-of-seven series and they can close it out on the road in Dallas on Friday.
Boston have proven they’ve got too much for Dallas so why go against Tatum, Brown and Co. now? The Celtics have a golden opportunity to win their first title since 2008 and we fancy them to do so.
The Celtics won’t want the Mavericks to win a game to give them a bit of confidence as they eye a historic comeback. We’re on a Celtics win.
Jaylen Brown To Score 25+ Points
Brown has always been regarded as Tatum’s right-hand man, however, the 27-year-old has arguably been Boston’s leader in the play-offs.
He was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP ahead of his team-mate and he’s also the heavy favourite to be named the Finals MVP.
Brown dropped 30 points in game three against the Mavericks and he’s averaging 24.9 points per game in the play-offs, only second to Tatum, who’s putting up an average of 25.2 points per outing.
Brown will be desperate to win his first championship, however, the added bonus of a huge performance landing him Finals MVP will be on his mind. Expect him to put on a show.
Derrick White To Score 15+ Points
Derrick White has been crucial for the Celtics this season on both ends of the floor.
He’s been named in the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for the last two years but his offence has been vital for Boston, especially in the play-offs.
He’s averaging 17.5 points per game in the post-season as well as taking and making the most three-pointers per outing for Boston.
White has put up 15 points in seven of his last eight games and there’s no reason why that should change in game four with the title on the line.
Kyrie Irving To Score 25+ Points
Doncic, who has been sensational all season, fouled out of game three and looks tired as well as very frustrated with referee calls. Instead of focusing on the Slovenian, we’re looking at his backcourt partner Kyrie Irving.
He joined the party last time out when dropping 35 points on 13-28 from the field. He’s been here before and he won a title back in 2016 so he’ll be desperate to keep his season alive with a big performance.
Irving found a bit of rhythm in game three and we expect that to continue in game four.
Dereck Lively To Record 8+ Rebounds
Dereck Lively has been an X-Factor for the Mavericks this season and he’s been decent in the play-offs, especially on the glass.
Boston are without big man Kristaps Porzingis and in his absence, Lively, who’s 7ft 1in, had 13 rebounds in game three.
He’s averaging 7.4 rebounds per game in the play-offs, which is only second on the Mavericks to Doncic. Expect Lively to be busy in this win or go home clash.
