The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided elimination from the play-offs earlier this week after winning game four to leave the series scoreline at 3-1 in the favour of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Timberwolves are currently the heavy favourites to secure a victory on Thursday night, not only because it’s win or go home for them, but Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic could also be sidelined through injury.

While the Timberwolves talisman has shot it well in the last week or so, his assist numbers have been more consistent.
We’re on Edwards Over 6.5 Assists, which has landed in his last five play-off games. The 22-year-old finished with nine assists last time out and he can continue to dish the ball to his team-mates if he’s being double teamed.
Daniel Gafford To Score 10+ Points
We’re backing the Mavericks on the Handicap and if that selection is going to land, they’ll need a huge game once again from big man Daniel Gafford.
Gafford, who has been one of the surprises of the play-offs, has won the battle against NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert and fellow big man Karl-Anthony Towns in this series.
Apart from an off-night in game three where he had five points, Gafford has put up 10 points in four of his last five outings and in seven of his last 10 games. He’ll bring energy once again and he should finish in double figures.
Kyrie Irving To Score 20+ Points
If Doncic does miss out on Thursday night, Kyrie Irving To Score 20+ Points is an obvious pick.
The Mavericks point guard will have more of the ball and put up more shots if Doncic, who takes over 20 shots per game, isn’t playing.
Irving won a title with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 and he’s got experience in these crucial play-off games. Expect Irving to put up at least 20 points, just like he has done in four of his last five games.
