Sunday 01:35am: Indiana Pacers @ Boston Celtics
Eastern Conference Finals Game 3
Series score: Pacers 0-2 Celtics
TV: TNT Sports

Game three of the Eastern Conference Finals is here and it’s now or never for the Indiana Pacers, who trail the Boston Celtics 2-0 in the series.

The Pacers failed to snatch game one on the road due to costly mistakes and their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton left game two with a hamstring injury.

All signs are pointing to the Celtics booking their place in the Finals and if they win game three in Indiana, it’s likely game over for the Pacers as only four teams in NBA history have forced a game seven after going 3-0 down in a play-off series.

We’re expecting Boston to win on Saturday night but we’ve opted against backing a result in our Bet Builder, we’ve got five better value picks instead!

Jaylen Brown To Score 25+ Points

Our first Bet Builder selection on Saturday night is Jaylen Brown To Score 25+ Points.

The Celtics man has been brilliant in the play-offs. He’s averaging 24.8 points per game in the post-season – only second to Boston’s main man Jayson Tatum on 25.2 points – and he’s coming into game three on the back of his 40 point outing at TD Garden on Thursday night.

Brown, who put up 26 points in game one against the Pacers, is shooting 54.4 per cent from the field in the play-offs and we’re confident he’ll finish with at least 25 points once again.

Derrick White Over 15.5 Points

Derrick White is a glue guy for the Celtics and he’s been one of their main X-Factors in the play-offs.

The point guard, who was named in the NBA All-Defensive Second Team this season, is brilliant on both ends of the floor and he’s averaging 18.3 points per game in the post-season.

White put up 23 points in game two earlier this week and he had 15 points in game one. All we need is him to hit his play-off average against a depleted Pacers side and this selection will land.

Derrick White 3+ Made Threes

Sticking with White, this pick goes hand in hand with backing the guard to go over on his points line.

White shot 39.6 per cent from beyond the arc during the regular season and he’s upped that in the play-offs by shooting 43.6 per cent from three.

He’s making a team-high 3.7 threes per game on 8.4 attempts per game. White 3+ Made Threes has landed in his last three games and in seven of his last nine outings. Let’s hope it continues!

Pascal Siakam Over 22.5 Points

Haliburton, Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam all turned up for game one, however, it was only the latter who impressed in game two.

Siakam had 24 in game one and he followed that up with a team-high 28 points in game two in Boston, while shooting 13-17 from the field and making both of his three point attempts.

The Indiana crowd will be roaring the Pacers on and with Haliburton likely missing out through injury, Siakam will get more shot attempts.

He will need to step up and put in a big performance if they are to win on Saturday night so backing Siakam Over 22.5 Points makes plenty of sense.

Myles Turner 2+ Made Threes

We mentioned that Turner didn’t impress in game two but he still made a couple of three pointers.

Turner only put up eight points last time out but he finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in game one. His points tallies prior to that read: 17, 17, 16, 13, 21. He’ll be desperate to bounce back in game three.

The Pacers big man is a genuine threat from deep and he’s making 2.5 three pointers per game in the post-season on 5.2 attempts per outing, which is a percentage of 47.4.

Turner has made two or more three pointers in his last three games and in six of his last seven play-off outings.
