12:10am: Los Angeles Lakers at Washington Wizards

Win Margin: Lakers 11+

It’s almost time to get excited. The NBA playoffs are just round the corner! However, for now, we’ve got to focus on the final few regular season games that will decide the playoff seeds and who’s got home court advantage.

The Lakers continue their east-coast road trip with LeBron James and Co. currently ninth in the Western Conference. Darvin Ham’s side will likely have to settle for the play-in tournament if they are to book their place in the playoffs.

The Lakers have won seven of their last eight after beating the Toronto Raptors 128-111 last night and they face a Wizards side who have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference ahead of the dismal Detroit Pistons. Although, Washington did beat the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday!

It’s not worth backing the Lakers to win at the odds so we’re sticking with them on the Win Margin market. We like the look of Lakers to win by 11+ points.

Anthony Davis To Score 20+ Points

Anthony Davis and LeBron James are the Lakers’ superstars and we’re backing the former to Score 20+ Points.

The big man is averaging 24.6 points per game this season and he’s dropped 20 or more on his last seven appearances, including 36 and 34 point outings.

Davis will likely hit his average but we’ll play it save and back him to score 20.

D’Angelo Russell To Make 3+ Threes

D’Angelo Russell has been crucial in the Lakers’ recent run and he’s impressed all season, with the guard averaging just over 18 points per game and six assists.

Russell dropped 25 in the Lakers’ win against the Raptors on Tuesday night but instead of backing him to hit a certain figure, we’re focusing on his three point shooting.

The 28-year-old is shooting 42 per cent from beyond the arc this season and backing Russell To Make 3+ Threes makes plenty of sense.

He’s attempted 10 or more threes in six of his last eight games and he’s hit four threes – as well as dropping seven at the Raptors – in six of this last seven outings.

12:40am: Indiana Pacers at Brooklyn Nets

Over 230.5 Points

The Indiana Pacers and the Brooklyn Nets face off for the second time this week and while Tyrese Haliburton and Co. should get the win as they have a playoff spot to fight for, we’re backing Over 230.5 Points.

The Pacers score the most points per game than any other NBA side, with their average tally currently sitting at 122.9. Brooklyn, meanwhile, average 111.1 points per outing.

The selection landed when they met a couple of days ago, with the Pacers winning 133-111. We’re expecting more of the same!

1:10am: Toronto Raptors at Minnesota Timberwolves

Win Margin: Minnesota Timberwolves 11+

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Toronto Raptors with Anthony Edwards and Co. fighting for the No.1 seed in the Western Conference.

The Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder and are all desperate to finish top to secure home-court advantage for the west playoffs before the Finals.

Minnesota, who are half a game behind the Nuggets in the west, beat the Houston Rockets last night and it looks a given that they’ll beat the Raptors, who have lost their last 14 games.

Similar to the Lakers game, it’s not worth getting on them to win, so we’re on the Win Margin once again. Minnesota to win by 11+ points is a shrewd pick.

Anthony Edwards To Score 25+ Points

Edwards has been sensational for Minnesota this season and he’s averaging 26 points per game, while also averaging 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

The 22-year-old is the Timberwolves’ main attacking threat and he’ll likely take at least 20 shots on Wednesday night, even if a couple of them are circus shots or maybe even a left-handed three pointer that he’s desperate to pull off!

We’re on Edwards To Score 25+ Points. All we need is him to hit his seasonal average, however, there is a slight concern about the Timberwolves blowing out the Raptors and him not getting enough minutes.

Rudy Gobert Over 14.5 Rebounds

Rudy Gobert is Minnesota’s top rebounder and he’s battling with Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings to lead the league in rebounds.

The Frenchman averages 12.6 boards per game, while Sabonis’ tally is 13.7 per outing.

Gobert, who has been named NBA Defensive Player of the Year three times, led the league in rebounding in 2022 and he’ll be desperate to be No. 1 again come the end of the season.

Expect Gobert to be all over the glass against the Raptors.
