Despite knocks to their starting five, the Celtics have continued to roll in recent weeks at a league best pace and it’s tough not to expect that trend to continue tonight.
They’ve won seven on the spin and covered in six of those, the only failure coming in their last game against the chasing Bucks,
Detroit have shown signs of life, or at least haven’t been as bad as they were earlier in the season, but the Celtics pasted them on Monday night in the second-leg of a back-to-back by 25 points and a repeat performance is more likely than not. Take the Celtics on the handicap.
Cade Cunningham to make 2+ Three-Pointers
Detroit’s best scoring threat has had an up-and-down time of it recently, but has averaged over 23 points per game since the All Star game and 2.5 made threes. With the Celtics managing injuries, he should get more looks that you might expect when they’re fully healthy and that could see him bring this in.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Home Team Total Points: Over 107.5
Both of these teams are going to be without some big names on Friday night. Donovan Mitchell is out indefinitely, taking away Cleveland’s most potent threat, while Ty Jerome, Dean Wade, Max Strus and Evan Mobley are all set to miss the trip to Minneapolis as well.
The home side are not without their issues either, with Karl-Anthony Townes and Jaylen Clark out, Rudy Gobert in doubt and Anthony Edwards nursing a finger complaint. However, he is expected to play having scored 30 points against the Nuggets in their last game despite carrying the same issue.
If he does, we’d expect Antman to keep up his blistering scoring pace that has seen him score no fewer than 25 points in his last five games, and that should see the Wolves team over of 107.5 land.
Darius Garland – Over 19.5 Points
With Cleveland suddenly hit by the injury bug, Garland becomes a very attractive option in player markets. He’s averaging just over 20 points per game in March and is going to have to carry the Cavs offensive threat with Mitchell out. Given Minnesota’s health issues, he should get the chance to do so and over 19.5 points is a reasonable expectation.
