Jayson Tatum to Score 30 Points

Action returns after the All-Star break on Thursday night and we’ve got the Celtics, who have the best record in the NBA at 42-17, travelling to Indiana to face the Pacers. We’re expecting the Celtics to win to add to their impressive record but we’re not going to include them in our Bet Builder.

Instead, we’re backing Boston’s two stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to turn up once again.

Our first pick is Tatum to Score 30 Points and all we need is the 24-year-old to hit his season average of 30.6 points per game and we’ve got a winner.

Tatum also comes into the Pacers showdown on the back of winning MVP in the All-Star game on Sunday, where he broke the scoring record and dropped 55 points while hitting ten of his 18 three point attempts.

He’s the hot hand and he can easily drop 30 on the Pacers, who have a .433 win percentage.

Jaylen Brown to Score 25 Points

Tatum is the main man for the Celtics but Jaylen Brown is just behind him. He missed the last couple of weeks before the All-Star game after suffering a facial injury with Tatum accidentally elbowing his team-mate.

Brown impressed in the All-Star game – as well as providing the most entertainment when going one-on-one with Tatum – and dropped 35 points.

He averages 26.5 points per game and he can hit the 25 mark after getting his touch back in the All-Star game.

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Lakers

Lakers to Win

The feature game on Thursday is the Warriors and the Lakers facing off at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA.

Teams are now set after the trade deadline and the Lakers have their new-look line up with D’Angelo Russell making up a big three alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The Lakers also have more depth now following the additions of Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt and Mo Bamba. They beat the New Orleans Pelicans before the All-Star break and the Lakers should have enough for the depleted Warriors, who are without Steph Curry, and are holding a 29-29 record.

Jordan Poole to Score 25 Points

With Curry out for the Warriors, it means there’s around 20 field goal attempts to go round – and Jordan Poole has taken a fair few of them.

The silky guard has been impressive recently and in his last five games he’s scored 21, 38, 29, 14 and 28.

His last outing was at the Crypto.com Arena against the LA Clippers and he dropped 28 on 50 per cent from the field. Poole is a certified bucket and backing him to drop 25 points is a smart pick.
