Take a bow pal. One Dublin punter was sat on a huge decision today. After placing a €10 10-fold and a €20 eight-fold, he just needed a Crystal Palace win away to Bournemouth to scoop more than €132k and really see January off in style.
We wouldn’t have blamed him if he’d cashed out. There was a combined cash out total of €33k on the two accumulators and Palace hadn’t won away in nine games in all competitions. If that’s not all – this punter even had Barcelona in one of his punts, and they didn’t even win! They drew 1-1 with Betis, but after having a perfectly good goal disallowed because there’s no goal-line technology in La Liga Paddy Power decided to pay out on Barca as winners anyway.
