Video: Dallas Cowboys ‘hire’ wrestling legend Sting in coaching role

We don’t think motivation will be a problem with this man on board

The Dallas Cowboys incredible season got back on track on Sunday with a 26-20 home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium.

Their 2016 record now stands at 12-2, but despite being Play-Off bound head coach Jason Garrett felt they were missing a little something and turned to WWE Hall of Famer Sting to help out.

Everything is bigger in Texas they say and the former WCW champion one of the wrestling industry’s most recognisable faces. His ‘official’ title is intimidation coach and over the years it’s fair to say he’s got that one down.

His ‘Crow Sting’ phase used to scare the bejesus out of us as kids and in a video released on the @dallascowboys Twitter page yesterday he got right down to work with his new charges – baseball bat and all!

Cowboys stars like running back Ezekiel Elliott all get their faces painted – much to Sting’s approval – in the clip and you can watch the shenanigans below.

What do you think?
