Imagine having home games for 10 consecutive years. That’s what’s become of the Dublin footballers but this Sunday that all changes as the Dubs are on the road to Nowlan Park in Kilkenny to take on Laois in the Leinster Championship quarter final.
With throw in at 7pm on Saturday, the fans might be lost and confused in Kilkenny city during the day. To help them adjust to the new surroundings, Paddy Power decided to give a couple of our shops an ‘upgrade’ to make it feel more like home.

We all know the Dubs are notoriously shy when it comes to travelling. So for the Southsiders they can head to the “Totes Amazeballs” Paddy Power Dean Street shop. This is manned by Mini-driving, selfie-loving Iseult, who’s sporting a bespoke velour tracksuit and designer bag with more bangles than you’ve had hot dinners. She’s accompanied by pal Oisín, rocking a green polo shirt while permanently affixed to his beloved protein shaker. He’s that guy at the gym.
Not to let the Northsiders feel left out, our shop in Lougboy is being carefully looked after by Anto and Chantelle. With some Bleedin Deadly offers, a fruit and veg stand for those more accustomed to Moore Street and the Smithfield stallion lovingly known as Rocky, punters from Finglas, Glasnevin or Coolock should feel right at home in Kilkenny. Just mind that Rocky doesn’t relieve himself in the shop. Mon Da Dubz.

The Dubs, who last played a championship game outside of Croker in Longford back in 2006, are the overwhelming favourites for Saturday’s game with 2004 Leinster Champions Laois available at 16/1 to leave Nowlan Park with a win and cause the first major shock of the championship.
