Unlikely odds and super fast winners thanks to the magic of One Touch
If you’ve been living in a dark cave for the last few weeks you probably won’t have heard of One Touch, Paddy Power’s latest super-cool product that makes getting a bet on In-Play even easier. We’ve been banging on about it more than Dave Whelan bangs on about that time he broke his leg in an FA Cup final, but if you need a quick re-cap, here are the highlights.

Three punters who not only know about One Touch, but have taken advantage of just how quick and easy it is, have already had Paddy’s pants down with some wonderfully optimistic In-Play bets in the last few days.
The Toffees Come Unstuck
Tom from London placed a £50 One Touch bet on West Ham to beat Everton after 75 minutes, with Roberto Martinez’s men 2-0 ahead courtesy of goals from Roberto Lukaku and Aaron Lennon. Unsurprisingly at the time, West Ham were 175/1 outsiders to get three points, despite Everton playing with 10 men after Kevin Mirallas saw red.
But the unlikely became a reality as West Ham came back to pocket punter Tom a tidy £8,800. Michail Antonio pulled a goal back in the 78th minute, before Diafra Sakho and Dimitri Payet bagged goals in the final 10 minutes. Cue unbridled joy for Tom, and another reason Martinez will be shown the door in the summer.
On Klopp of the World
Not many people would have been overly confident backing Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace as the two sides entered stoppage time at Selhurst Park. Chris from Galway was quick off the mark however and thanks to the speed of One Touch he got €50 on Jurgen Klopp’s men to win at 14/1.
A minute later and Christian Benteke was taken out by a sniper in the stand, but recovered quickly enough to take the resulting penalty. He rolled it comfortably into the bottom corner and Liverpool picked up the win, while Chris bagged a sneaky €750 himself.
Oh man, Oman
Ireland aren’t too great at dominating many world sporting events and we’re OK with that. So much so that Simon from Dublin was happy enough to use One Touch to have €50 on Oman at 12/1 In-Play to beat Ireland in the T20 World Cup.
Unsurprisingly, a couple of terrible innings from Ireland later and Oman went into favourites before going on to win by two wickets. A fairly miserable day for Ireland, but a great day for Simon who scooped €650.
