US Open tennis schedule, odds and prize money for 2024 Grand Slam at Flushing Meadows

Can Djokovic carry his Olympic form to Flushing Meadows?

US Open tennis

The final Grand Slam of the tennis season is upon us as the best players in the world head to New York for the US Open.

It’s one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world and is considered the most lucrative, boasting the largest prize fund out of all the four major slams.

Novak Djokovic is the defending men’s singles champion, winning his fourth crown last year at Flushing Meadows more than a decade on from his first victory.

The Serb recently won gold at the Olympics for the first time in his career and will be hoping to carry that form onto the hard surface here.

Meanwhile, women’s star Coco Gauff triumphed on home soil last year to win her maiden slam and will be looking to retain it.

US Open 2024 odds

Carlos Alcaraz is the early favourite to regain his US Open title after winning it for the first time in 2022. His biggest competition will, of course, be Djokovic.

2022 women’s champion and current French Open champion Iga Swiatek is the early favourite to win at Flushing Meadows, but she will have to fend off home star Coco Gauff and last year’s runner-up Aryna Sabalenka.
