Wimbledon 2024 is well underway and the women’s singles draw is wide open.
Just two players seeded inside the top 10 remain as we enter the quarter-final stage and it’s quite possible we could see a first-time winner at the all-England club.
2022 winner Elena Rybakina is the highest-ranked player left and is seen as the one to beat, but is on course for a thrilling semi-final match against former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko.
Emma Navarro has been one of the surprise packages and knocked out number two-ranked Coco Gauff in round four.
Qualifier Lulu Sun also captured attention reaching the quarter-finals, but eventually losing to Donna Vekic.
