11:00 – Sebastian Korda v Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard – Sebastian Korda Wins the Match and Both Players Win a Set

‌The US has several dark horses in the men’s draw, with one of them being the in-form Sebastian Korda. After a forgettable clay court swing, Korda has hit the ground running on the grass, reaching a final and a semi-final in preparation for Wimbledon.

‌A win over Grigor Dimitrov was the highlight of an excellent June for Korda, whose original round one opponent, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, withdrew on Sunday due to a back injury. Benefitting from the Spaniard’s absence is Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, who will make his SW19 debut as a lucky loser.

‌Mpetshi Perricard can be a handful on grass, particularly if his first serves are landing. He isn’t the most consistent in that department but the Frenchman can get hot for at least one set and present Korda with some problems.

13:00 – Katie Boulter v Tatjana Maria – Katie Boulter -4.5 Game Handicap

‌Having made the third round at Wimbledon in each of the last two years, Katie Boulter could be set for a deeper run here if she can replicate her performances in Nottingham where she defended her Rothesay Open title last month.

‌The former top 10 junior retired with illness in her first-round match at the Birmingham Classic but any concerns over her Wimbledon fitness were quashed with a couple of victories in Eastbourne.

‌Double faults have been an issue for Boulter in recent weeks. As long as she can keep those to a minimum, she should keep up her perfect record against veteran Tatjana Maria, who was a Wimbledon semi-finalist two years ago but has declined since then.

17:00 – Vit Kopriva v Novak Djokovic – Vit Kopriva +9.5 Game Handicap

‌Novak Djokovic is one of two former Wimbledon champions coming off the back of surgery to grace Centre Court on day two of The Championships. Unlike Andy Murray, the Serb is a heavy favourite in his opening match.

‌The 24-time Grand Slam winner, who had an operation on his knee after the French Open, declared himself pain-free after defeating Daniil Medvedev in an exhibition last week, but 9.5 games is a huge head start in the handicap market for Vit Kopriva.

‌It would be understandable if it took Djokovic some time to get into his rhythm, while Kopriva has three qualifying matches under his belt and shouldn’t need much time to settle down. The Czech player caused upsets versus Henri Squire and Richard Gasquet en route to the main draw.

17:00 – Daniel Evans v Aleja Tabilo – Aleja Tabilo -3.5 Game Handicap

‌Results couldn’t have been much worse for Daniel Evans this year. After splitting from coach Sebastian Prieto for the second time in May, the only matches the 34-year-old has won have been on the Challenger Tour.

‌It’s difficult to make a case for the Brit against a quality operator like Alejandro Tabilo, who found form in Mallorca in the week leading up to Wimbledon. Evans has been well beaten in the first round in the last two years at the All England Club, and his ranking has plummeted since the defeat by Quentin Halys under the Centre Court roof in 2023.

‌Tabilo’s career is moving in the opposite direction. His current ranking of 24 is the highest it has ever been, and he can outclass Evans despite the home advantage.
