The grass court season is in full swing and we say hello to the pristine turf at the All England Club as Wimbledon prepares to serve up two weeks of quality tennis.

Wimbledon 2022 has attracted plenty of controversy after banning Russian and Belarussian players because of the invasion of Ukraine, which prompted the ATP and WTA to announce that no ranking points would be dished out, effectively rendering it an exhibition tournament.

Off-the-court drama aside, Rafael Nadal is halfway to a calendar-year clean sweep of the Grand Slams, while last year’s US Open winner Emma Raducanu will have plenty of support from the home crowd. The Wimbledon faithful will be denied the chance to cheer on Roger Federer and Serena Williams, however, after the iconic duo were not included on the entry lists.
