11am: Leylah Fernandez v Amanda Anisimova – Fernandez to Win
This match up sees two exciting youngsters go head to head for a quarter final place. 17th seed Leylah Fernandez edged Belinda Bencic in round 3 after easing through her opening two matches. The Monterrey winner spoke during the week about her strive for consistency and will get a chance to prove she has it against the ever-improving Amanda Anisimova, who looked to be going under before an injury hit Karolína Muchova retired early. Anisimova’s 86 unforced errors so far gives Fernandez an exploitable opening to advance further into the competition. Fernandez to Win is the pick.

12pm: Novak Djokovic v Diego Schwartzman – Djokovic win & both players win a set
World number 1 Novak Djokovic cruised through rounds 2 & 3 with straight sets wins but faces a tougher challenge in Diego Schwartzman who battled back from 2 sets down in round two to claim victory against Jaume Munar and won in straight sets over Dimitrov. The pair have met six times in the past with Djokovic coming out on top every time including a 3-2 win here in 2017. A repeat could well be on the cards Sunday so I’ll go with Djokovic to win and both players win a set.
4pm: Jil Teichmann v Sloane Stephens – Stephens to win
Former world number 3 Sloane Stephens has had to battle her way through the opening two rounds before easing past Diane Parry last time out. The experienced 29-year-old, who enjoyed the winter, winning the hard court WTA Guadalajara earlier this year, exited the tournament at this stage last year but may go deeper this time around against her Swiss counterpart who is enjoying her furthest Grand Slam journey yet. The pair have never met before but a double fault ratio of nearly 4:1 going against Teichmann, coupled with a retirement in Rome, points to this one going the way of the outsider and Stephens to Win.
