US Open tips: Roger Federer heads up our 25/1 Wednesday treble

You got to have the GOAT in there.

Hugo Dellien v Daniil Medvedev: A 6-0 Set in Match – 5/2

Daniil Medvedev is in scintillating form at present and is a serious contender for the title this year at the US Open.

The same cannot be said for Hugo Dellien and that’s reflected in the match betting with Medvedev being a huge 1/66 shot. Players much better than Dellien have been losing sets to D Medvedev 6-1 or 6-2 this season and in his current form, the Russian will look to put this match to bed as ruthlessly as possible.

It will feel like a long night for Dellien, but the clock on the side of the court will suggest differently and a 6-0 set in the match looks great value at 5/2.

Dan Evans v Lucas Pouille: D Evans to win – 13/8

Dan Evans seems to have got his head together and is starting to play very well of late. He is 20/10 on hard court over the last year, while Lucas Pouille is 12/9.

He has put quite the season together with some narrow defeats to Stan Wawrinka at Indian Wells, Denis Shapovalov at the Miami Masters and Rafa Nadal at Montreal in early August – losing that match only 7-6 6-4.

Pouille in his own right has bumped into some top 10 players this season, but it should be a closer betting match than it currently is and for that reason, Evans is the selection to keep the British hopes alive at a tasty 13/8.

Roger Federer v Damir Dzumhur: Both players to win a set (Yes) – 15/8

These players have met twice before in slams – both in 2015. Roger Federer won those two in straight sets, but the great Swiss unfortunately ages he has become a bit slow out of the blocks.

Damir Dzumhur has taken out big names like Stefanos Tsitsipas earlier on in the year and there is a belief on the trading floor that 15/8 represents some value here.
