Oh, and there’s one more thing before you go. In order to make things better for you when punting, we’ve amended our tennis betting rules.
Industry standard tennis rules hold that if your player (or players if it’s doubles) retires after the first set ends, they are deemed a loser and the player/team that progress is a winner. But Paddy wants to have our punters’ backs, so our rule is that if a player retires after the first set we void the player who retired.
As an example, if Andy Murray – who’ll be there playing in the doubles draw – retires hurt after the first set, you’ll get your stake back on him and his partner. Can’t say fairer than that.
