Australian Open: A lit traders’ treble for Thursday morning’s matches

These matches get going in the small hours Down Under...

Milos Raonic v Stan Wawrinka: Raonic to win – 4/9

The big boring Canadian was very impressive against Nick Kyrgios where he showed an improved net game and fired down 30 aces and won an incredible 27 points in a row on serve.

Stan on the other hand lost the first set to Gulbis before the party loving Latvian retired.

Garbine Muguruza v Johanna Konta: Muguruza to win – 8/15

Muguruza, a two-time grand slam champion had an off year last year but has looked good in recent matches, while Konta somehow convinced the world she was better than average for a year but has since fallen back into obscurity.

Mug should win here.

Novak Djokovic v Jo Wilfred Tsonga: 3-0 Set Betting – 4/6

Djokovic didn’t look especially inspired in his matchup against Krueger, but he always ups his game for stronger opponents.

The Serb has been his usual annoyingly consistent self in grand slams and we don’t see this changing in a repeat of the 2008 final.

Odds correct at time of posting.
