Like a fine wine, the GOAT of tennis just seems to be getting better and better.
In his third round match against the mercurial Nick Kyrgios, Roger Federer pulled off one of the most outstanding shots of his career. Chasing a very well executed angled drop shot by the Australian, not only did Federer manage to get his racket to it – which is impressive in itself – but he managed to nick it around the net post.
In case you don’t believe us just watch below. The shot not only had the Flushing Meadows crowd in pure shock but Kyrgios could not hide his disbelief. His reaction tells it all.

Kyrgios, when asked about the shot post match then said: “I was trying to tell him (Roger) the shot wasn’t that good. No, it was almost unreal. It was unbelievable. I’m probably going to post it on Instagram.”
