Friday sees Roger Federer back in action, and our tennis experts think he has the right stuff to net you a profit against Jan Lennard Struff...

A Mannarino v D Medvedev
Match Odds: A Mannarino – Evs

This should be a close encounter and quite a tough one to call but we are going to side with the in-form French man Mannarino. He leads their head-to-head record 2-0 and is in excellent shape, winning five of his last six matches, the sole loss coming against to Damir Dzumhur in the final of the ATP Antalya last week. All the attention will be on Medvedev after his upset of Borna Coric in the first round, but Mannarino seems to love the grass season and is a good bet at even money for this one.

S Querrey v G Monfils
1st Set Total Games: Over 10.5 Games – 6/5

This could be a long match and it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest to see it going five sets. Although we marginally favour Monfils to get over the line at a good price of 13/8, the bet for this one seems to be the over 10.5 1st set total games. Querrey is one of the biggest servers on tour and always seems to find form on grass whilst Monfils is certainly no slouch either.

K Bertens v V Williams
Set Betting: Venus William 2-0 – 5/4

Even though Venus has struggled through her opening two matches, we still think the now 38-year-old will have too much firepower for the clay courter Kiki Bertens. She has an amazing record at Wimbledon, winning five singles titles over the years, and looks to be great value here to win in straight sets at 5/4.

R Federer v J Lennard Struff
1st Set score after 4 Games: Roger Federer – 3-1 – 9/4

This should be a pretty straightforward matchup for Federer on his quest for a ridiculous ninth Wimbledon title. He usually starts with a ruthless pace in these type of matches and we severely doubt Lennard Struff will be able to stay in tow for long. Look to Federer to get the early break during the first set and, with odds of 9/4, the first set score after four games seems a great bet.
