French Open: Give Paddy a volley with this 8/1 acca on Tuesday

As the action on the dirt of Roland-Garros starts to hot up, we’ve got our traders to slice into the action and they’ve pulled out four fab tips for us…

Kristyna Pliskova v Serena Williams: 1st set total games Over 9.5 – Evens

The GOAT of women’s tennis returns for only her fourth match of the year following the birth of her daughter and Royal wedding duties. While she is much the better player here, the lesser known Pliskova sister can keep this one close early on as Serena brushes off the cobwebs. Pliskova’s serve should help her win some easy points and as long as she isn’t overcome by the occasion, we expect this match to go past 9.5 games in the 1st.

Steve Johnson v Adrian Mannarino: Over 3.5 sets – 1/2

Neither player has covered themselves in glory at Roland Garros over the years, with both never making it past the third round and we expect this contest to be a tight affair. Johnson comes into this on better form, but his mind can go wandering. Just last week he somehow managed to lose from a set and a break up against Márton Fucosvics. Taking this into account, 1/2 on this match going past three sets looks a good bet.

Fabio Fognini v Pablo Andujar: Game Handicap F Fognini (-5.5) – 4/5

With each player picking up an ATP title on clay in 2018, this should make for an interesting battle. Both players go into the French Open in similar form, but we feel Fognini’s inferior service statistics should be the deciding factor in this match. With that in mind, we feel the (-5.5) game handicap on Fognini at 4/5 is a good value play to take on.

Kyle Edmund v Alex De Minaur: Set Betting 3-0 – 8/11

Edmund arrives in Paris full of confidence after a good clay court season to date and a recent win against this young Aussie under his belt. The Roland Garros courts are renowned to play slow so this should give Edmund further confidence as one of Di Minaur’s biggest weapons, his speed, will be relatively redundant. As the match price reflects, we will feel this one will be fairly straightforward for the Brit to take it in three sets.
