A 10/1 treble from our traders on the Brisbane International tennis

Our traders have made their picks for a tidy little treble on the action Down Under...

A Cornet v A Sasnovich: Sasnovich to win @ 6/4

Sasnovich, along with her fellow Belorussian Fed Cup teammate Sabalenka are two players to watch this year. Both were exceptional late last year and have had a strong start to 2018 already.

Sasnovich came through qualifying here and has already beaten higher-ranked opponents in Mladenovic and Kontaveit.

Cornet was lucky to progress in the 1st round when tied at a set all when Garcia had to retire. They’ve faced off once before with Sasnovich winning that one and the price looks right for another victory tonight.

D Istomin v J Donaldson: Over 22.5 games – 8/11

Following the withdrawal of Sir Andy and the early departures of Zverev and Raonic, this presents a great chance for either of Istomin and Donaldson to make it to the final this week.

They’ve played each other twice before, with Istomin coming out of top both times, the last being a 3-setter late last year. This match could easily go the same way with both players having a strong serve but lacking on return.

Brisbane is a fast court and for this reason we’re siding with the overs in this match at 8/11.

J Konta v E Svitolina: Konta to win – 13/8

An enthralling matchup sees British No.1 Johanna Konta face the young Ukranian Elina Svitolina at the flattering price of 13/8.

Konta showed her trademark resilience to come from a set down against Ajla Tomljanovic, and reach the quarter-final stage of the Brisbane International. Although Svitolina boasts a 2-0 H2H record in this matchup, we think there’s plenty value in this one given Konta’s extensive pre-season effort to put a disappointing end to 2017 behind her.

A £/€1 stake on these three selections returns £/€11.34.
