Gasquet v Goffin, Goffin to win – Evens
Both players are coming into the match on good form having recently won titles. This contest happens to be their first career meeting, and it’s slightly surprising to see Goffin as underdog.
If he’s not too tired after a hectic schedule, he could well win this.
Svitolina v Garcia, Svitolina (-3.5) Games Handicap – Evens
Garcia is coming into this on the back of her biggest career title and may be feeling a bit fatigued. She also has a very poor record against top 10-ranked opponents (Svitolina is ranked 3), losing eight of her last 10.
Svitolina has looked in great form so far this tournament and has covered the handicap in both of her opening matches. As a result, you won’t be going far wrong backing her against the handicap here.
Nadal v Isner, Over 23.5 Total Match Games – 11/10
Isner has played very well in his opening matches, dishing out a bagel to Leo Mayer yesterday. He also beat Nadal just two weeks ago during the Laver Cup on a fast court similar to the one in Beijing. The match will most likely come down to a tiebreak or two and I think Isner will be able to keep this match close and cover the total games.
