We’re refunding over £100,000 on Andy Murray after his Wimbledon exit

The reigning champion is out of Wimbledon, and we've decided to do you all a favour

Our traders must be feeling generous today, as they’ve decided to refund all bets to its punters who backed Andy Murray to win Wimbledon following the two time champion’s quarter final loss. You beauty!

Murray had entered today’s clash with Sam Querrey as the overwhelming 1/33 favourite to advance but appeared to be hampered by injury throughout the contest before being eliminated.

That’s when we thought it would be a good idea to give our punters a treat, by refunding all singles on the match and the outright market for Murray to win the tournament as free bets.

Paddy Power, a spokesperson for Paddy Power, said “Andy Murray carried the hopes of a nation and the lionshare of our punters today but unfortunately he couldn’t perform to the peak of his powers. As the Scot wasn’t at his best we feel that the only fair thing to do is to give our customer’s their money back to have another crack at us before the end of the tournament.”
