Quiz: Name the last five Wimbledon champions outside of today’s Big Four?

We won’t lie this is a tough one to smash…

It took a little while for things to warm up at Wimbledon, but it got hotter than John McEnroe’s temper on Monday as French Open champion Rafael Nadal exited the tournament in an epic against Gilles Muller.

Nadal, the champion in 2008 and 2010, has been part of a four-player domination of the famous Wimbledon trophy in recent years and it seems winning at SW19 these days is more exclusive than the guest list at Paul Pogba’s pool parties.

In fact since 2002 the current ‘Big Four’ have won every title on offer at the world’s most famous grass courts, so if your name isn’t Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic or Andy Murray then you’re not getting in for strawberries and cream.

This got us thinking and we’ve decided to put our punters’ knowledge to the test. The question is, can you name the last five individual winners of the Gentlemen’s singles at Wimbledon other than the Big Four?

You’re going to have to be quicker than Nadal between points to get it right because you’ve only got a minute and a half to serve up the correct answers. Ready? Play!
