Keep dancing!

Strictly Come Dancing

Ahead of its highly-anticipated return to our screens, Paddy’s tasked his television traders with pricing up the latest Strictly Come Dancing 2024 odds.

The 15 famous faces who are hoping for a weekend by the sea in Blackpool, and eventually their very own Glitterball trophy, have been confirmed ahead of the show’s return.

Three-time Olympic swimming champion, former England footballer Paul Merson and Love Island star Tasha Ghouri are just some of those names who will be strutting their stuff on the dancefloor.

Despite being a BBC staple for 20 years, Strictly remains a ratings Goliath and whoever wins is sure to be a popular face. The reigning champion is soap star Ellie Leach, who won with her partner Vito Coppola last year.

JB Gill

He’s only got ‘One Shot’ to lift the trophy, but JB Gill’s experience as one-quarter of boyband JLS will certainly help his chances.

The former X Factor contestant will be hoping for four 10s and a yes from the judges this year and he’s the early favourite to take the crown.

Tasha Ghouri

Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri is Paddy Power’s second favourite for this year’s crown. She’s a popular face on social media, with her huge number of followers expected to be out in force voting.

Tasha, originally from Yorkshire, was born deaf and will be hoping to raise awareness of the condition while competing on the show.

Shayne Ward

‘Winning Strictly? That’s My Goal.’

Actor and singer Shayne Ward, who rose to fame when he was crowned the winner of the X Factor back in 2005. He has since gone on to have a successful career on stage and television including a stint on Corrie.

Can he make it two from two in big Saturday night TV contests?

Jamie Borthwick

Soap star Jamie Borthwick is best known for playing ‘Jay’ on the hit BBC One show Eastenders. Let’s hope he has a little more luck than his character…

Several contestants from the soap world have won Strictly and he will be hoping to follow in their footsteps.

Sam Quek

Olympian Sam Quek will be going for gold once again.

The former field hockey player rose to fame when she was part of Team GB’s successful side at the 2016 Olympics and has since gone on to become a successful TV presenter for BBC Sport.
