Strictly Come Dancing Odds: Paddy prices up the 2020 contenders

Sequins at the ready, Strictly's back.

Do do do do do doo dooo, do do do do do. That’s me singing the Strictly theme tune, if you couldn’t tell.

It’s the first live show of the series tonight, and though there’s no elimination, we reckon Maisie Smith will be top scorer, as she’s so well-fancied to win the entire show.

At this stage anything can happen and I’ve tasked the traders to price up a number of special Strictly markets including top week one score, first judge to give a 10 and, of course, the overall winner.

Maisie Smith is favourite to be the top-scoring contestant of the week, and she has also been the long-standing favourite to win the entire show.

HRVY is second-favourite to notch the highest rating this week, while reality TV’s Jamie Laing and former NFL star Jason Bell are next in the market.

Though there’s no elimination this week, Jacqui Smith leads the betting to be lowest scorer of week one, ahead of Ranvir Singh and Bill Bailey.

And when it comes to the judges, Shirley Ballas is most likely to be the first to award anyone a rating of 10, with Motsi Mabuse second and Craig Revel Horwood is seen as least likely at 3/1.

Maisie is the overall favourite ahead of singers HRVY and Max George. However, while Bill Bailey might bring the funny, he’s out fifth favourite to be the first to get the boot.
