Amid reports that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting their fourth baby, we’ve have priced up what the most-likely moniker may be.
We make Robert the 8/1 favourite, with family links to the Kardashian brother and to Kim’s father.
However, the most interesting name in the market is surely Donald, after the current US President Trump. Rated 14/1, Kanye has been outspoken about his political affiliations as recently as January 1st.
The rapper also said he’s going to wear his Make America Great Again hat on stage, and our oddsmakers say the chances of him calling his son MAGA are 300/1 – the same likelihood as being called Barack.
Also in the betting is Jesus at 20/1, following on with the biblical theme of son Saint. Ye, Kanye’s current Twitter name, is rated 25/1, while a tribute to the late singer Prince is 33/1.
Following his recent ‘checks over stripes’ public spat with Drake, it’s much less likely he’s named after the Canadian rapper (400/1), or after his clothing brand Yeezy (250/1).
When asked about the new arrival spokesman Paddy Power said: “Rumours suggest that Kim and Kanye are expecting baby number four, and we’ve already seen some interesting action in the betting.
“The emotional tribute to Kim’s brother and father Robert is popular, but surprisingly Donald has also emerged as an early favourite. Kanye has been public in his love for the current President, and there’s no greater sign of admiration than naming your own child after him.
“And, as is always possible with Ye, he could just opt to name his baby after himself. In various guises, Ye, Yeezy, or just plain Kanye.”
