Britain’s Got Talent returns to our screens next month – but it is unlikely to mark a permanent comeback for co-host Ant McPartlin.
Though Ant, alongside Declan Donnelly, has pre-recorded the auditions for the show, we make it massively odds-on (1/10) that he won’t front the live shows.
Instead, Saturday Night Takeaway colleague Scarlett Moffatt is being tipped to take his place – the former Gogglebox star rated as odds-on (5/6) to present the live shows alongside Dec.

We reckon Ant’s return is inevitable, though, and we’re quoting 10/11 that he resumes presenting duties on I’m A Celebrity… this winter.
Asked about a BGT move for Moffatt spokesman Paddy Power said: “So Ant’s been decked by ITV – it’s a case of ‘taxi for Ant’ for the next few months. Which seems a wise move.
“While the much-loved Geordie TV presenter recovers in rehab, ITV bosses seem set to really think outside the box – by replacing him with much-loved Geordie TV presenter Scarlett Moffatt. Genius.”
