Boxer Amir Khan has been less popular with the punters, though, drifting from third favourite to seventh in the betting (10/1).
Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, who plays popular Fizz on the ITV soap, remains favourite to win the series as 7/2 shot.
Asked about the upcoming series spokesman Paddy Power said: “Stanley Johnson is already proving a hit with the punters – Boris could learn a thing or two from his dad about how to attract members of the public to believe you can be the main man.
“Amir Khan, though, might as well throw in the towel now. Bettors have snubbed him, providing a knockout blow to his hopes of winning the show.”
