X Factor 2017: Singer-songwriter Grace Davies leads the betting

As contestants go to bootcamp, the markets are warming up more than their vocal cords…

After a mammoth run of audition episodes, X Factor 2017 is finally heading to bootcamp – and we’ve priced up the contestants’ chances of winning the show.

Grace Davies, who blew the judges and audience away with her self-penned song ‘Roots’, is the early favourite (3/1), ahead of Irish brothers Sean and Conor Price (5/1).

Rak-Su (10/1) have a good chance of being told ‘I’m Feeling You’ by the public, after their catchy song caught the imagination – and Dutch soul singer Berget Lewis (10/1).

Also in the running at this stage starlet Rai-Elle Williams (12/1), Scottish sibling three-piece The CutKelvins, Philippine songstress Alisah Bonaobra and Anguillan hopeful Deanna Mussington (all 14/1).

Asked on the X Factor spokesman Paddy Power said: “It’s hotting up after a marathon run of audition episodes – which became so ludicrous that I’ve installed Louis Walsh as favourite to be the winning judge. It’s that kind of year.

“My personal pick is Berget Lewis, who has previously performed for the Queen of the Netherlands – now she’ll be performing for the queen of X Factor. Sharon, of course.”
