Soggy bottoms at the ready… The Great British Bake Off is set to return to our screens next week and we can’t wait!
It will be the first series of the hit-show since the controversial move over to Channel 4 – which means there’ll be no Mary Berry, or Mel and Sue, but Paul Hollywood does return.
Channel 4 have been accused of milking the rights to the show with hefty ad breaks and producers will be hungry to impress the loyal Bake Off audience.

And we’ve served-up some tasty betting specials for the new series, including odds on a shock return for Mary Berry.
Punters can tuck into the 5/1 on offer for national treasure Berry to make a sensational return to the show after this series, while it’s 12/1 for Mel and Sue to return.
Viewing figures are expected to be down due to the shift to Channel 4, and we’re going 10/1 for this series to trump last season’s figures.
And if the new series leaves a bitter taste with the British public then a tenner on the 50/1 for Bake Off to return to the BBC would leave punters rolling in the dough.
Previous series’ of the show have scooped numerous awards, and it 2/1 for this edition to overcome the switch to Channel 4 and scoop a National TV Award.

Asked about a stunning return for Mary Berry spokesman Paddy Power said: “The oven timer has been ticking far too long for the next series of Bake Off, but the shift to Channel 4 is sure to stir up mixed emotions for the British public.
“While show producers have assured us the show is essentially the same – no one could begrudge Mary Berry returning to the hit-show.”
