The duo have each gone from start of show novelty act – and rank outsiders in the betting – to properly popular in recent weeks.
And we have invited them in-store to settle their differences, and back themselves for success.
Paddy Power would give the free bet to the winner of the dance-off to place in-store on themselves winning the X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing. The proceeds of any bet would go to a charity of the winner’s choice.
Ed Balls started Strictly at 66/1 to win the show, but his odds have tumbled in recent weeks, crashing in to 7/1 third favourite.
Rapper Honey G has been on a similar journey, becoming an X Factor sensation and is now 16/1 to win the talent show, having started as a 100/1 non-contender.
And, beyond their offer of a charity bet, the pair could prove expensive winners – we’d be liable for a pay-out of more than £100,000 if the pair were each to win their respective shows.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “If you squint slightly, it’s hard to actually distinguish between Honey G and Ed Balls – and their ability is also pretty similar.
“But the British public have shown their love for an underdog and backed the duo surprisingly deep into the competitions.”
“After Honey’s challenge to Ed on Saturday night, I’d like to make it happen – it’ll be the most awkward dance-off since the Brexit debate.”
