Rocket Ronnie is going for 8!

Cazoo World Snooker Championship

Paddy is about to go all snooker loopy because the World Championship is here.

The biggest event on the calendar sees the top 16 players in the world joined by 16 qualifiers at the prestigious Crucible Theatre in Sheffield from Saturday, April 20 to Monday, May 6.

This year’s edition is already proving to be a blockbuster, with defending champion Luca Brecel sensationally defeated in a round one deciding frame by David Gilbert.

All eyes turned to the GOAT, Ronnie O’Sullivan, in his aim to become the first player to win eight world titles and join the exclusive list of players to win all three Triple Crown events in a single season, but the Rocket suffered a shock quarter-final defeat to Stuart Bingham.

That means he will have to wait to get his hands on the famous trophy once again as the Crucible prepares to crown this year’s winner.

World Snooker Championship odds are on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, everything you need to know about this year’s tournament can be found below.
