This should be a cracker. I think both players are on top of their game, but particularly Murphy, who always reserves his best game for these big tournaments.
I take Murphy to win tonight, but not by much. Murphy leads 5-1 in the head to heads, but it should be a cracker.
This is a different kettle of fish entirely. I think it’s going to be a one sided affair for Mark Allen. Sam Craigie is a journeyman-pro. He’s forty-seventh in the world. He’s been lucky with the draw to get here, only beating Ryan Day – the highest ranked player he’s knocked out.
Mark Allen is playing some great stuff this season, and I think he can take care of Sam Craigie convincingly. If you’re doing a correct score in that, I go for Mark Allen’s win by six frames to one.
But my bet is Mark Allen, -2.5 on the handicap, and double that up with Shaun Murphy to be Jack Lisowski, and you have your double.
