After the rowdy PDC World Championship comes a more sedate affair for the Alexandra Palace as the world’s 16 best snooker players descend on the iconic north London venue for The Masters.

While it may not be a World Snooker Tour ranking event, The Masters is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the calendar as it forms one leg of the Triple Crown along with the World Championship and UK Championship.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

The likes of Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby and defending champion Yan Bingtao will be in action but one of the most in-form players on the Tour right now, Luca Brecel, will not be competing.

The blossoming Belgian was outside the top 16 in the world rankings by the cut-off date after losing in the UK Championship final but rose to 15th after landing the Scottish Open a week later.

Action at the Ally Pally begins on Sunday, January 9, and you’ll find details of the all-important Masters draw, schedule, odds and prize money below.
