Watch: Ronnie O’Sullivan coolly slots re-spotted black with delightful double

He’s just the master…

There’s few sights in the world of sport better than watching snooker superstar Ronnie O’Sullivan in full flow and today he treated us to another magic moment.

The Rocket was taking on old rival Mark Williams in the quarter-final of the Shanghai Masters this morning and the opening frame proved to be a tight affair.

Locked at 58-58, O’Sullivan and Williams were forced into a re-spotted black to decide who would get off the mark first in China.

Williams must have thought he was safe when he stuck the black tight to the side cushion from his safety attempt. However, you’re never safe with The Rocket about and he proved just that by dispatching a brilliant cross-shot right into the heart of the corner pocket.

The wonder-pot netted him the frame and O’Sullivan would go on to seal a semi-final spot with a 5-1 victory. Ronnie will meet the experienced John Higgins in the semi-final and you can watch his terrific shot for yourself below:
