Saturday 4.45pm: England v Ireland

TV: ITV1/ RTE2

Eddie Jones has marked down Ireland as favourites, but they don’t have a good record at Twickenham.

That said, records are there to be broken and improved.

England look like a jigsaw missing a few key pieces, whereas Ireland are a slick machine where they all know what their doing.

Johnny Sexton is back with his hands on the tiller and their bench is stacked with quality – Joey Carberry is a class No.10, Iain Henderson is a Lion in the second-row, Robbie Henshaw would get in most first 15s around the world, and they’ve Conor Murray too.

My NAP of Round 4 of the Six Nations is an Ireland win at Twickenham. They know what they’re about, are playing with confidence and can score from anywhere and anyone – 12 different players have scored for them in the 2022 Six Nations. That’s twice as many as England, who are over-reliant on Marcus Smith.

Ireland are the all-round package. England are not.

Ireland have the resources if it’s not going as well as they’d hope, so I expect them to see of England and get the win.

I like Bundee Aki for Anytime Tryscorer here. England’s midfield has a lot of question marks about it with Joe Marchant and Henry Slade. I know Marcus Smith is a brave defender, but Aki will have the bit between his teeth after being out recently through injury.

He’ll be looking to deliver the sort of lines Manu Tuilagi would be if he was fit, and I’d be looking to Aki to break the gameline and get on the scoreboard.
