Rugby star Donncha O’Callaghan, former jockey Ruby Walsh and WWE Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will star in a brand-new series being broadcast during the Rugby World Cup.
Irish bookmaker Paddy Power brought together the cast of unlikely sports personalities to film the six-part series in Japan, alongside Paddy Power.
The web show, entitled ‘Japan Slam’ will see the cast undergo an “immersive experience” on all the nation has to offer, undertaking a series of challenges including sumo-wrestling, eating challenges and samurai sword fighting.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “We’re saying konnichiwa to Japan as we head over there for our latest piece of exclusive content ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
“I’m admittedly less enthused about taking on professional sportspeople at physical challenges. Though I’m fairly confident in my abilities when it comes to the eating challenge.”

“It’s going to be a great trip full of craic, unusual food, and Irish glory.”
Paddy Power also confirmed that no members of staff were harmed (above) in the making of a social media video starring the four-time WWE Heavyweight Champion.
The first episode of the six-part series will hit Paddy Power’s social media channels Friday, September 20th, to coincide with the opening game of this year’s tournament, Japan v Russia.
The documentary series will be available to view on Paddy Power’s YouTube Channel and a series of interviews with Sheamus will start on PP News over the weekend.
