Ahead of their St Patrick’s Day showdown at Twickenham, Ireland are a victory away from only a third ever Grand Slam success – and ramming Eddie Jones’ words right down his throat.
The England coach, whose side stand in the way of Ireland, was caught on video (filmed last year) labelling his opponents “scummy Irish”, but they could be more like the ‘yummy Irish’ if they produce another victory on Saturday.

Schmidt men were a 7/1 shot before the tournament began to repeat the Grand Slam feat last achieved by Ronan O’Gara and co back in 2009. While, Eddie Jones men – who were pre-Championship favourites – have seen the wheels come off their chariot of late with back-to-back away losses to Scotland and France.
