So what do you think is harder? A nine-dart finish, a maximum 147 break in snooker or a hole in one in golf?
Well Paddy’s going to try and answer one of the biggest questions in sport today with Paddy’s Perfect Challenge on the Paddy Power Youtube channel at noon.
Woof!
It’s a two-hour live show streamed across Paddy Power’s social channels and the PDC’s X, Facebook and YouTube channels. Did we mention it was on today at noon HERE?
And some of the top names in their respective sports have been given two hours to solve this sporting riddle, under the watchful eye of presenter Emma Paton.

- What’s harder to get? A hole in one in golf, a 147 in Snooker or a 9 Dart finish
Top tungsten tossers, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen will attempt to hit a nine-darter, while snooker aces Shaun Murphy and Mark Williams will attempt a 147 break.
While top English pros Matt Wallace and Ross Fisher lead the hole-in-one challenge live from the Hertsmere Golf Club in London, presented by Georgie Bingham.
They will be supported by our celebrity golfers on the day in former footballer & top podcaster, Peter Crouch, mischief maker and former pugalist Tony Bellew and, eh, Paddy Power. All will all have a go at hitting an ace on the 141-yard par three.
Did someone say shank?

And as we build up to greatest sporting occasion of the year – the Paddy Power-sponsored PDC World Championships on December 15 – we’ll be giving anyone watching the chance to win tickets to the Final in the Ally Pally on January 3rd.
The Bigger 180
We announced last week they would once again be donating £1,000 to Prostate Cancer UK for every 180 scored during the tournament as part of their BIGGER 180 campaign, while also putting up a colossal £180,000 bonus every time a player nails a nine-darter. The mega prize will be split equally between Prostate Cancer UK, the player who throws the perfect leg, and one lucky fan in the iconic Ally Pally crowd.
Last year, The Big 180 campaign raised £1million to support Prostate Cancer UK’s lifesaving risk awareness work after 914 180s were hit, with our bean counters rounding up the final donation to the seven-figure sum. This year, the campaign aims to smash that total, with funds supporting Prostate Cancer UK’s groundbreaking TRANSFORM trial. As the most ambitious prostate cancer screening trial ever, TRANSFORM will find the best way to diagnose the disease early – and pave the way for a national screening programme that could save thousands of lives.
As Paddy himself said: “Our finance department have been getting a bit nervy after hearing of our mad-cap idea to put up £180,000 for every nine-darter at Ally Pally this year, but I myself hope there’s an absolute lorry load!
“A little bit of extra practise for Luke and MVG can’t hurt – and I can’t wait to see us answer sport’s greatest questions in the process.”
Paddy’s Perfect Challenge will take place on Wednesday, Dec 4th at 12 noon – click here to view on the Paddy Power YouTube channel.
