They say the game’s all about glory – but on the That Peter Crouch Podcast the main aim is to avoid showing your bottom by not finishing bottom.
Former pro Steve Sidwell learned that lesson the hard way earlier this week as he bore all a new role as a life model for the Dulwich Art Group.
The former Fulham and Brighton midfielder was forced to pay the price for coming last in the gang’s predictor competition – and the forfeit left little to the imagination as you can see below!
The latest Paddy Power forfeit for the @petercrouchpod was to pose nude with a pudding…

Some forfeits you might be able to squirm out of but, as we saw when Chris Stark was on the stage with the dancers at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship, the only way to avoid embarrassment is to make sure you’re not bottom of the pile.
Joining the Dluwich Art Group in drawing Sid were co-hosts Peter Crouch and Chris Stark and Crouchy admitted he was delighted to have avoided this particular forefit.
“I was absolutely bricking it at some points this season,” he said, “Especially when I found myself in last place.
“There were rumours of what this forfeit was going to be and it definitely topped the last one! This is why I had to up my game towards the end.
“It was genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life when Sid walked out in that green robe.
“I wasn’t able to start drawing until about 20 minutes into it because every time I looked up I would burst out laughing again, which I don’t think the other serious artists were too impressed with!”
“I was stitched right up here,” Sidwell cringed. “Being sat in a room full of people I have never met before 98% naked is not how I envisaged spending my Wednesday morning.
I’m sure they left the heating off on purpose too
“I think calling it an outfit is a bit of a stretch, accessories is probably a better term.
“I was laughing my head off to be honest, the pudding was definitely a nice touch.”
After the ordeal was over Sidwell chose his favourite creation as the winner to be hung in That Peter Crouch Podcast’s pub, the Chumba-one-bar.
But despite his complaints it’s clear he secretly enjoyed being the centre of attention and he’s taken all of the artwork home with him.
“I don’t think anyone loves a forfeit,” Sidwell continued, “but we did have a laugh with this one.
“Everyone was a very good sport about it and I have got some lovely pieces I can hang in our new place now.
“It was a very tough call picking a favourite as they were all so good but I do think the winning one captured me quite well and I also thought it was quite a good size for us to hang down the pub.
“I kept all of them! The artists were all really kind and signed them for me and they will definitely be taking pride of place somewhere in our house – and not just the downstairs bathroom.”
