The Paddy Power Comedy Festival in Dublin starts today!

And we're off...

After the side-splitting success of last year, we’re proud to confirm WE’RE GOING AGAIN and sponsoring the Dublin Comedy Festival for a second successive year – and it all kicks off today, Thursday the 27th of July 2023.

The festival has always been proud to celebrate the brilliance and diversity of Irish comedy and this year’s festival is packed to the rafters with home-grown and international talent.

We’ve got the likes of household names such as Tommy Tiernan, Dara O’Briain, Deirdre O’Kane, Jason Byrne, Gearoid Farrelly, Jarlath Regan, Enya Martin, Kevin McAleer, Fred Cooke, Dirtbirds, Kevin McGahern and Neil Delamare all on the bill.

There’s a host of stars from across the pond too, including house band star of James Cordon’s Late Show, Reggie Watts, star of HBO’s 2 Dope Queen’s Phoebe Robinson, Never Mind the Buzzcock’s Desiree Burch, rising newcomers Ariel Elias and Caitlin Peluffo and Connor O’Malley.

They will be joined by performers from across the far smaller pond with UK acts including king of the one-liner’s Milton Jones, Scotland’s Fern Brady and star of Live At The Apollo’s Helen Bauer.

We’ve gone global too with plenty of comedians from across the world heading to Dublin, including The Last Leg’s Adam Hills, Wally Baram, Nghia Mai and many more.

The deal will also see Paddy continue to sponsor The Craic Den, a comedy TV series bought by Ireland’s hottest comedy club of the same name.

Fronted by Eddie Mullarky and Damo Clark, The Craic Den will air on Virgin Media from Wednesday June 21 running for six weeks in the lead up to the main event at the end of July.

Tickets for the Paddy Power Comedy Festival, which is an over-18s only event, are on sale NOW and are sold on a show-by-show basis. So what are you waiting for?
