One bold Paddy Power punter took advantage of TWO late Christmas gifts from Leicester’s Wout Faes to reel in a monster £13,193.16 from a £10 multi-sport acca in-between Christmas and New Year.

With 17 of 18 legs safely in the bag, it all came down to Liverpool v Leicester in the Premier League December 30th with our punter just needing a home win.
With The Foxes improving there would undoubtedly have been pre-game nerves and those wouldn’t have been helped as the visitors took an early lead at Anfield.
But the Belgian centre back was on hand to get our punter across the line with a heroic seven-minute brace of own goals just before half time to see Liverpool take the three points and our better the dosh.
But there were a hearty 17 legs that got us to this stage, with everything from the Dart World Championships, NFL action, Premier League punts as well as Championship wagers and some shrewed Euro footy selections as well.
The longest punt of the 18 was for Le Harve to beat Bordeaux at home on December 26th and that was a proper nail biter with the selection going a goal up after nine minutes but then a man down with 23 left to play. They held on and even prevented Bordeaux from having a shot on target in the game.
Other notable flutters included backing Liverpool to win both games over the Festive period as well as Gerwyn Price and Dimitri van den Bergh double in the darts on the 27th.
With 11 different competitions from three different sports represented this was the ultimate case of putting your knowledge to good use. All that’s left is for us to doff our green Santa hats and say well played, you deserved that one!
