We’ve slashed the odds on Meghan Markle giving birth in February

Is that the pitter-patter of tiny - but lavishly shod - feet we can hear?

We’ve slashed the odds on Meghan Markle giving birth in February, having suspended betting on her and Prince Harry having twins.

We now make it 6/4 (in from 8/1) that Meghan will give birth in February – after the Duchess of Sussex revealed she was “nearly there” with her pregnancy.

February is now the clear favourite in the betting, well clear of April (3/1).

The twins market was suspended after a tell-tale flow of bets, which mirrored the betting patterns which happened before Meghan and Harry’s engagement and pregnancy announcements.

And similar activity has been reported around a February due date. Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Harry and Meghan certainly don’t do things by halves. The sudden engagement announcement, the rapid wedding turnaround, swiftly followed by pregnancy news. Welcoming twins would fit that pattern.

“And an increasing number of punters think the pair will give birth sooner than expected – just as they correctly predicted the engagement and the pregnancy.”
