Barack and Michelle Obama are odds-on (1/3) to attend next spring’s Royal Wedding, as excitement grows around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials.
Markle’s Suits co-star Patrick Adams (1/100) is a certainty to attend, as are Royal favourites Elton John, Millie Mackintosh, and Sophie Ellis-Bexter (all 1/50).
Also very likely to be on the guest list, are David and Victoria Beckham (3/10), Serena Williams (1/8), and Sir Paul McCartney (5/4).
The couple are now odds-on (4/6) to announce their pregnancy next year, after a series of bets which followed their official television interviews yesterday evening, and 13/2 to confirm it before the wedding itself.
The most likely current world leader to attend the big day is German Chancellor Angela Merkel (2/1), ahead of Theresa May (10/1) – who is behind Boris Johnson (9/1) in the betting.
Showbiz-wise, Simon Cowell (5/1), Jennifer Aniston (25/1) and Mollie King (also 25/1) could attend – while Harry’s exes Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas are both 25/1 to get an invite.
Asked about the who’d attend spokesman Paddy Power said: “The Royal Wedding is going to be the event of the year, narrowly pipping Prince Harry’s stag do.
“The invite list is going to be a who’s who of celebrities, politicians, and Piers Morgan.”
TO ATTEND THE WEDDING CEREMONYMichelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement. We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together.
