The New Year’s diet has already paid off, Paddy Power is getting leaner and faster

Are you ready for a whole new betting experience?

With all this ‘New Year, new you’ stuff flying about we’ve decided it’s only right to get with the times and from now you’ll be seeing a trimmer and slicker Paddy Power.

We’ve had our IT boffins running laps and pumping iron over the Christmas period, so now feels like the right moment to unveil our new body… of work.

Paddy Power’s brand new app and website will be faster and so easy to navigate that it would put Lewis Hamilton doing laps of the Indianapolis Speedway to shame. We are also promising an experience as consistently brilliant as Roger Federer across mobile, tablet or laptop as well as a range of markets wider than Donald Trump’s waistband.

Don’t worry it’s not fake news, we really are introducing a new betting experience – packed full of new and exciting features – that will give you easier access to the markets that matter and quickest ever bet placement.

We’ve updated our coupons, specials and outrights on all sports giving you quick access to all your top in-play events and the ultra-quick navigation throughout the site on offer means you’ll never miss a bet!

What about the gee-gees we hear you say? Well we leaped like a Willie Mullins thoroughbred into action to make that even better too.

Here’s what’s on tap for a whole new racing experience:

  • We’ve added a specialised homepage just for racing punters with the latest relevant content right in front of your eyes.
  • You won’t miss a race with our Un de Sceaux-like rapid navigation from meeting to meeting and you can see the next 25 races on the racing homepage.
  • We’ve added a UK & Ireland filter, so you don’t have to scroll through any International races.
  • You won’t miss the off with highlighted race status counting down to the starters orders, along with updated ground going which refreshes every half hour (almost faster than White House excuses).
  • We now have tips for all UK and Irish race meetings from even more tipsters on each racecard so you can be sure to find a winner.
  • All the same great offers are there including Best Odds Guaranteed on UK & Irish racing and watch out for more of our amazing Money Back Specials!

Oh wait, there’s some more!

As well as all the exciting new features we’ve added, such as our best ever Cash Out, here’s some essential info of how we’ve improved the My Account and My Bets sections of the new experience:

My Account Updates

  • Free Bets: Now you can use your free bets in whatever amounts you like. For example, if you have a £5 free bet, you can bet £2 on one selection, and £3 on a totally different selection instead of having to bet the full amount on one bet.
  • Email login: You can now login with your email address instead of username. This should come in handy in case you forget your username – we all have those moments.
  • Payment Methods: You can now add and deposit with up to three cards on your account.

My Bets Updates

  • Cash Out: If you placed a bet on the previous version of our app and site that hasn’t been settled yet, you can cash out your bet by contacting our Customer Support team here. They will cash out your bet for you.
  • Open: This page will show all your recent bets that have not been settled yet. Any bets you placed on the previous version of our app and site that are still open can be found on the “Older Open Bets” page accessed via the My Bets “Open” page.
  • Settled: This page will show all your recent settled bets up to the previous 3 months. Any bets you placed on the previous version of our app and site that have settled can be found on the “Older Settled Bets” page accessed via the My Bets “Settled” page.
  • Transaction History: All bets and transactions related to your main account can now be seen in the Transaction History page. All bets and transactions for the last 3 months on the previous version of our app and site can be found on the “Older Transactions” page accessed via the Transaction History page.
