A Paddy Power customer has been inundating us with bet requests – on the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis Presley being found alive in 2017.
Sometimes, the gags write themselves.
But the Elvis enthusiast, from Kent, is relentless – placing a series of bets over the past 48 hours, over both the internet and phone, amounting to £25 at odds of 2000/1 and a total of £300 at 1000/1.
Asked about the best spokesman Paddy Power said: “I’m All Shook Up at this punter’s bets, which seem impossible – but clearly he has a suspicious mind.
“I think he might be barking up the wrong tree or, then again, he might be nothing but a hound dog.”
