Do it for Seve! Paddy Power ‘sky tweets’ above the Ryder Cup 2012

Earlier this week American Captain Davis Love III stoked the flames for a fiery confrontation, stirring up U.S. fans to deliver the loudest frenzy ever seen at the tournament. Paddy Power responded with an audacious plan to redress the balance for Team Europe. This involved creating giant tweets in the sky, visible from over 20 miles, designed to rival any ground-level heckles.

Eagle-eyed golf fans were aware early on Saturday that mischievous Paddy Power decided to take to the skies above the Medinah Country Club (USA) to deliver the world’s first ‘sky tweet’ campaign in support of Team Europe at the Ryder Cup tournament. It wasn’t long before everyone at the course saw what was happening and Sky Sports started to broadcast the sky tweets live on air to viewers at home.
