STACK

Drew Brees (£8,300, 16.08 FPPG) and Michael Thomas (£8,700, 18.38 FPPG) – ATL @ NO

Drew Brees is a fantasy quarterback to hang your hopes on in Week 10. His reputation speaks for itself — he has the most passing yards of any quarterback in NFL history and will certainly be in Hall of Fame conversations when he hangs up his helmet and pads.

Brees is back in action after spending most of the season out with a serious thumb injury and will be ready to tear apart the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, who have one of the worst defences in the NFL.

Brees’ No. 1 receiving option, Michael Thomas, has punished poor defences twice this season, registering 182 yards and two touchdowns against Tampa Bay in Week 5, as well as 112 yards and a touchdown in Brees’ return last week against the Cardinals.

Thomas has also seen 11+ targets in 6 of his 8 games this season. If that continues against the Falcons, look for these two to put up some big numbers.

GOING BIG: THE TOP PLAYER

Saquon Barkley (£8,600, 15.81 FPPG) – NYG @NYJ

From his monster thighs to this diamond ‘26’ earring, Saquon Barkley oozes talent. This week’s match-up against rivals New York Jets should suit Barkley, who will be looking to rush for 100+ yards for the first time since Week 2.

The Giants’ receiving corps is banged up — WR Sterling Shepard and TE Evan Engram are both out — so expect Barkley to see carry the load on offence and make good on his high price in Week 10.

BARGAIN PICK

Damien Williams (£6,000, 9.54 FPPG) – KC @ TEN

Williams had a breakout game last week against the Vikings in Week 9, rushing for 125 yards and a touchdown. At just £6,000, Williams could be a great pick to offset the price paid for stars Brees, Thomas and Barkley, should you want to spend big.

The return of 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes at quarterback will mean the Chiefs won’t rely on Williams as much as they may have done with backup Matt Moore, but Williams has earned his starting spot in Kansas City and could prove as much on Sunday.

AVOID

Sam Darnold (£7,200, 12.01 FPPG) – NYG @NYJ

There isn’t much hope for the quarterback in the league’s least productive offence. The Jets (97) are the only team yet to score 100 points, and have thrown for the least amount of passing yards, joint-most interceptions and own the worst sack rate in the NFL.

Darnold, who spent the first five weeks out with mono, is only partially responsible for that, but his return is yet to really change the fortunes of their offence. There are better options elsewhere in Week 10.

DEFENCE

Ravens (£5,000, 7.5 FPPG)

The key with this pick isn’t so much about how good the Ravens defence is, who are just above average, it’s the offence that they’re playing. The winless Cincinnati Bengals will start rookie Ryan Finley for the first time this season, with star WR A.J. Green now ruled out indefinitely.

The Bengals are the second-most pass-heavy team this season, so the pressure will be on Finley to make throws and move the sticks. If he fails to do so, the Ravens defence stands to reap the rewards.
